My daughter India is making these wonderful tiny clay creations and selling them to raise money for a trip to Belize this coming school year. Go take a look, they are adorable!

Working on miniatures all week, preparing for Halloween and X-mas miniature scenes! Worked on tiny paperdolls, mail and miniature books! Today I am trying my hand at a miniature gingerbread house...we will see!

Mushroom Photos up at "The Essential Baking Company" cafe....

There are about 60 mushroom photographs on display at Essential Baking Company @ 5601 1st Avenue South Seattle. They will be up for one month and are really worth checking out if you are in the area! Hours are 6:45am to 2:15pm, Monday - Friday...

New Show...one night only!!!

New show coming up, there will be not only mushrooms photographs at this show...but card sets and other nature prints available. Stop by if you can, there will be wine and yummy food! it's on June 10th from 6-9 @ TILA 4727 44th Ave. SW...West Seattle

Finally completed the postcard for my upcoming show...it will be all mushrooms in this photography show, there will be 85 photographs. I thought of doing a variety of subjects then thought....nope, I will do all fungi. I will be there on opening night to talk about the mushrooms and the forest...(:

Happy Earth Day to everyone, I hope that you all did something special like go for a walk in your local forest or park and enjoyed a little of what nature has to offer us. We are very fortunate to have all of this beauty around us and we should all be doing our part to protect our environment too. It's going to be a beautiful week...

I feel like this week is going to be a great week, last week not so much...but everything is looking up now as I knew it eventually would.I have sold five mushroom books and I think there are some others interested so I have extended the sale price on it until the end of the month!I am also running a special, if you buy a mushroom book this week I will make you a set of three tiny clay houses (they are really tiny...I think some of you may remember them from my photograph last month!) This is the second book of mushrooms that I have made over the past two years...it is a 120 page softcover book containing 121 new mushroom captures (some have not even been seen yet!), it's a 7"X7" paperback with full page photographs. I am so grateful for all of my incredible contacts and the support that I have received through my mushroom photographs I am selling the book at practically cost! I think that there a lot of people out there that would not mind having it, but could not afford the amount of the first mushroom book, so I am selling this one for practically just the cost of publishing it!
